Ever wonder what causes the tides? Here's one of the better videos I've seen on the subject.. First 7 minutes are great but after that it gets kind of cosmic :)

Interesting. I never heard a person ever say "The Sun is effecting the tides" before. You learn something new every day.

Awesome video! Blew my mind! Did not know about the sun's influence on tides but after seeing this it makes sense. So tides are 3/4 influenced by the moon and 1/3 by the sun's gravitational pull. very interesting.
