Sandy Hook Bay Fluking

Got out for a few hours this morning and managed 4 nice fish biggest going 7lbs but steady action for the most part. Best fishing was in 17 to 22 feet of water with glow bucktails and nuclear chicken or chartreuse gulp 4 and 5 inch swimming minnows. The big fish had a 7 inch fluke in its belly and the others had lots of sand and small crabs. Usually see them full of shrimp around this time but that hasn't been the case yet this season. Anyone know what the barges and cranes are doing in the middle of the bay?

Was out last night and had several fluke with mantis shrimp in their bellies. Also a few spit up grass shrimp.
