Ramapo river Monday am
 

I guess the trout slept late for the holiday. Went back with a friend at around 6 am and it was very slow at first although the resident sunnies and bass were biting. Started getting a few bumps then I hooked and lost 2. A short time after that the bite was on and we had some that were choking down our lures. It turned out to be a very good trip we caught alot of stockers and left by 8:00 as many others were arriving. River was at a good level and our bites came in the riffs near the deeper pools.

Lots of Trout in the rivers now. Gotta weed through the other fish to get to em. Way to stick it out man! :D
