Delaware River - New Hope/Pipersville
 

Going to be around the Delaware for a 24 hr period next week. Any thoughts on best way to bend the rod ? Figured during the day I would randomly throw some Keitechs, going to have some kids w/ me so figured would bait up some hooks with worms and hope for the best. Is it sticky around there ? was thinking maybe having some rods out after nightfall to try for some catfish. If it's worth it, what's the bait to use ? chicken livers? Any help would be appreciated.

I just came through the Morrisville - Trenton area on Wednesday and Saturday of last week and the D was up in the trees near shore and on the islands. I'd keep an eye on the flows with USGS before you go, especially if you're bringing children.

I'm no help on the fishing there though, haven't tried it yet.
