Black river/round valley report
 

Didn't get to fish as much as I would have liked to this weekend with this crappy weather. Worked at the sporting life all weekend and fished the pm shifts sat and sun. Hit my favorite trout stream Saturday with no one in sight, original plan was to fish and walk and cover alot of water well there was no need for that plan... Walked down the mountain first hole first second third fourth cast fish on everyone. Pounded the hole by myself for the next two hours and blew through a brand new jar of power cheese in no time landing over 25 bows. Most of them were normal 12" and got my fix for the day. Sunday after the shop I did a quick trip to the valley for the second shift. Set up the spread and worked the big lake and trolled up 4 nice big bows biggest 20-21 ish about 3 lbs, a few Pinner 12" ers, and three lakers one of which was decent. Wow, great report on the black river. Plenty of trout to go around still in stocked streams.

Way to work between the storms buddy. That was a ton of rain we got Sat so kind of surprised there was a river that was fishable. Nicely done.
