Big hybrids/ river float trip
 

Friday came and that meant only one thing time to fish!!! Jumped in the mamba with my good friend jimmy aka jimmylivebait. Headed out on the big pond for another sleepless long night. Got out on the grounds and worked some spots quick with very little action so headed for some different areas we used to fish and found a few eyes nothing picture worthy 16-18 with a 21ish mixed in. Finally get to a honey hole and jimmy first cast whacks his new pb hybrid going 25-1/2 and evreybit of 8 lbs! Nice big thick and wide. We continue d to work the area and jimmy puts a clinic on and sticks a nice big marble eye about 25". Swing by the ramp grab skunkcity- Rob and head back out it was slow all night til the last drop we made in no man's land and screen lights up with tons of brids first cast fish on second cast fish on third cast fish on! Worked them good for 45 mins before the bite died and headed for the barn. Water temp was 63*. Went home refueled and recharged and headed out sat am with the man Fasteddie, met at that big river for a 3/4 day partyboat special. We tried for the shad with no luck, evreytime we got on em they would split because of the boat...Fishermen from shore did pretty good... We both had something in our mind so we tilted the motor up watched our depth and ran a few miles upriver and came to a nice pool neither one of us fished before and caught a mixed bag of nice river fish. Including some nice bows!!! Beautiful fish! Another sleepless weekend but we'll worth it! No time to sleep this time of year go go go!!!!!

Great work all around boys. That is a pig there Jimmy congrats on the PB...must have been a great fight.

I love going on adventures on the biggest river in our area. It was well worth the ride. If I lived closer to that area I’d be on the river almost every day. To me it’s the prettiest place around. There’s always fish to catch and you never know what’s going to smash your plug next. YEA BUDDY!!!!!:D
