Raritan river Bound Brook 5/5/18:
 

New canoe/kayak launch by the Queens Bridge in Bound Brook. It does say NO parking unfortunately. Guess you could park at the South Bound Brook lock on the canal which isn't very far.
Also river went up 250CFS with no rain so they must be releasing water from either Spruce Run or Round Valley. River was at 450CFS now close to 600CFS.

I've seen people parking at that third pic before, by the dirt pull off on the north side of the river.

Best to launch at the greenbrook/boundbrook confluence since its the least steep and flowing there.

Andy,

I was up by the pumping station again last night, water flowing over the entire length of the wall, its been like that for weeks now. saw some huge top water hits in the area that the retention should be.

probably dumping water from spruce run as it is still over filled
