cockolla crappie

lil better caught a dozen crappie no real slabs, 4 bluegill & 6 bass from 6-12 inches, that just are so annoying but the raccoons will eat good for easter. all fish on trout magnets & small soft plastic minnows. wind made it really hard to fish was a couple flurries when wind dropped out where I'd have a bite every cast thought it was gonna explode wind would pick back up & fish stopped. still biting light but water was alot warmer than last week.first river trip tomorrow with Butchie & poppa dum dum.

Early-season crappie fishing brings back a lot of fond memories. Even the small ones are tons of fun. Silvery harbingers of spring!
