pre melt down action on the cong

i went to the state park area for some perch and was not let down. i fished in 4 to 6 fow and had a nice mixed bag of perch, crappies and sunnies . a guy i met up with managed to get a slob of a slime dart on a tip up, it was 25" and i got a 15" lmb on a tip up. everything else was caught on jigs. we used ripin raps, jiggin raps and marmoska jigs with meal worms and wax worms. we also saw a bald eagle flying around. all in all a great day out on the ice.

That ice should stick around for a while, no ? I guess the edge issue will come up again after the rain. Getting in plenty of ice time, that's guud :)

It's supposed to be pretty cold at night so I think the ice should hold up through the warm afternoons. .

yeah idk about those edges...going to get demolished again. was pouring before and almost 60 degrees i think. going to be questionable for the weekend. all the damage would have to be repaired from wed night to friday morning i think thats the cold temps for the week.

sounds like a good day before the edges get a beat down though!
