Blackfish jigs- boats fishing shallow

Been on a bunch of trips this December
And perhaps subconsciously - been doing some real shallow
Fishing
I know the temps have been up
But on your 3rd dead drop maybe it's time to look at a different depth
I blame all the 2 oz jigs

It may be time to leave the wife's spinning rod home
And go old school
