Browns and Bows
 

First Post - It has been a pleasure reading everyone's reports and seeing pictures of fish around NJ.

(11/25 - 11/26)

Started off last weekend bright and early at the shores of Round Valley soaking shiners and marshmallow-worm combos with little success. My friend did get a decent little rainbow which turned out to be the only fish of the morning between 3 of us. Lots of slow days this year compared to last at RVR.

Feeling unsatisfied, I stopped at a local stream on my way home and got a few browns on jigs.

Went out Sunday to another local river and hooked up with a big rainbow on a size zero joes fly and 4# test. Took me for a ride down river before I could land her. Of course forgot my landing net in the car :mad: managed to tail grab her and get her to stay still for a quick pic before releasing her. Didn't tape out but definitely a pb rainbow for me.
