Does anyone soak theres in fabric softener and does it actually work?

Yes it does .
But some makers such as Percy don't recommend it .
Reason is it allows,knots to tighten down and create burn off .making holes in the nets.
Use sparingly and rinse well and I found it's ok on his nets too .
Will be doing mine this week

As long as you rinse it good with fresh water after every trip and you let it dry you don't need to do anything else to it. I have nets that are over 10 years old and still open like they are new.
