Where should I fish this weekend!?
I finally have a completely free weekend!! No work, no concerts, no plans with the woman, so that means its TIME TO FISH!
I can't decide what I want to do! Should I take the yak out for a river float? Or should i take it to a lake/reservoir? Maybe abandon the yak and wade for some river trout? I CAN'T DECIDE! No matter what, I'll just be happy to be on the water. With my new job i had less time to fish this summer so I'm excited to have a whole weekend free for it. If anyone is free and wants to meet up this weekend shoot me a message! I'm willing to drive pretty much anywhere in the state. Let me know if you want to fish! Hope everyone and their families are happy and healthy. Tight lines!! |
Re: Where should I fish this weekend!?
Raritan smallmouth sir. That is if rain doesn't flood the river again lol.
If you haven't floated the Raritan, now would be a good time. I wouldn't mind giving you a ride back to your launch point, I'll wade fish. |

Before you do any float trips, check the USGS gauges, they can be VERY helpful.

Re: Where should I fish this weekend!?
you might want to try for hybrids or walleyes on the cong. or you could try for some smallmouths at splitrock if you are feeling adventurous.
