Medicinal Pot on Party Boat?
Went fishing over the weekend on a party boat in NJ. Observed a couple guys in the back of the boat smoking a joint. They did this a few times during the day, yet nothing was done. I'd like to know - isn't this illegal? I see almost every charter or party boat post that illegal drugs will not be tolerated (didn't see that poster on this boat). Could it have been for medicinal reasons and that's why nothing was done?! I know at least one mate saw it happening and nothing was done. To me and the others on the boat, it was just ridiculous that they couldn't leave their habit at home, even if it could possibly have been for medicinal purposes!

If you have an issue talk to the captain. If you don't like the outcome find another boat.

Its the new world we live in. Men can marry men and women can marry women, three states have legal Pot and more states are considering it. Before long it will be a free for all so Trust in God and keep your powder dry!

Re: Medicinal Pot on Party Boat?
The person should had the decency of at least going upstairs to do their business. I don't see what is the big deal about it. Better than getting drunk and acting stupid or hurting someone or yourself. Like the moron this weekend who decided to drink a bottle of vodka and was hammered by 10 am falling all over the place. Pot smoking doesn't do that Just saying...... :D;)

Re: Medicinal Pot on Party Boat?
Do I care if somebody smokes weed or not? Not at all, but on a public boat with likely many patrons on a weekend it's absolutely not the place to do that. Speak to the captain and see what he says, I wouldn't want to be around that myself.

Re: Medicinal Pot on Party Boat?
I was being "nice" by saying medicinal - I'm sure it wasn't. Seriously, I thought that the captain or boat owner could get into some major do-do for that happening on their boat. Every boat I've been on said that drugs will not be tolerated.
