Pavers are the way to go. Less $ in labor and material. And they do last forever.
Concrete cracks, fades, chips, ect. Especially over old tree roots. As the roots rot away voided will be created, ground settles, sink holes, all will end in a crack no matter how much you prep it.
If a paver settles, sinks, cracks, stains remove it and make the repair. Something you can do on your own.

It's far, but yes I do travel there sometimes. But for an nj fishing brother, I will go and not charge you for the visit. I would love to help you with a project if I can. :) I have a website & a Facebook page, but I don't think I can post it in an open forum, without permission from Gerry, but you can inbox me for any info you would like.
