I just attended my first fishing seminar this weekend. I never thought I would, but I did. It was the Canyon Runner seminars out in LI. Very, very informative. If someone decides to offer their productive way to catch fish, why not add that knowledge to your book. It can't hurt.

Same here. You pick up little tricks here and there. Most of the stuff you already know.

I did a few. Pete Barrett and the like.

Sat through plenty myself, as mentioned above learn some new "tricks". Best one was "Crazy Alberto" on surf fishing for bass.

It's not that guys have a lot of balls. I will guarantee that someone in the audience learned something that they didn't know. If you ask me you have a lot of balls implying that said speaker had nothing at all to offer. Now I was not there so I guess it's possible that was the case. but any seminar I have ever attended has always had at least a few things to offer, was everything useful to me..... No but sometimes that's how it goes in seminars

Something I try to live by is to listen to everyone's advice but decide for yourself if you should take it or not because you will be surprised sometimes at the strange places good advice comes from.

I actually went to a Party Boat Tuna fishing seminar once and learned a new trick with Powerpoint but not so much with PB Tuna fishing. You just never know.
