Round Valley has been so off that I've been hitting Merrill Creek. These pics were over the last week or two. Been consistently good fishing but now things are warming up and I'm moving into the salt.

Nice catches. I haven't been out there in a few years, need to give it another go but that parking lot scene is a downer. Is it like that all the time now with RVR and SR water levels being what they are?

Maybe that was one of those tournament days.

Prob a local bass club tourney most of those boats. $30k boats to win $250 lol...

All those boats and only one open ramp this year with the low water at MC... That's why I have only fished it twice... Sucks to see. Looks like you've been doing great though nice job!

Thanks. I had heard it's gotten better at SR but how green the trees are in the parking lot pic suggests it was a recent picture and I don't remember ever seeing that parking lot that full the times I went up there.

Most likely a tourney day. I know tranquility on the NJ waters is few and far in between but don't need my weekdays on the Turnpike out there either!

The day with all those boats was during Memorial Day weekend. Good weather got everyone out there.

Funny to see all those boats there. Fishing is on the decline at Merill..not what it used to be...its not worth fightimg the crowds anymore

Brown trout are gone, I moved on. Nice bass though, healthy looking.

very nice mixed bag of fish. cool pic of the fish in the water. flooded timber bass love that stuff. those smallmouth look healthy cool report.
