1st bronze of the yr 4/20/16 smoke em if ya got em!
 

Drove to the river last night and started throwing plugs around 1130. Had a couple bumps then blammo! Def not a walleye! Jumping all over the place. Put a nice piggy at my feet. First bronze of the yr and a good healthy one at that. Nothing else on plugs. Switched to soft plastics and had a rock bass, bullhead and a small smb. Not a bad couple hrs. So sleepy from last nite lol. Gotta get my nite bite shoes back into gear.

Takes a few twilight trips to get the body used to the lack of sleep and adjusting your eyes to the dark. I think it's easier to go to work the morning after during the wk vs having to get up with 3 screaming kids on Saturdays or Sundays lol...

I couldn't agree more, that is why I do my late night excursions during the week. If either my job or my son is going to get a half-assed day out of me, it's Going to be the job every time. In fact, it's getting one right now since I was fishing the Clark Resi last night until almost 2 am:-). Too bad my excursion didn't produce any picture-worthy fish, just two dink bass.
