Some Recent Catches 4/16
 

Went out last Friday in search of trout. Hiked and fished a familiar area and put together a decent catch. 5 hooked , 3 landed. All but one were average but got one a little bigger. Stopped at the P on the way home to see if the pike were game but had to settle for a 16" smallie, damn.......

Today, I bank beat a nearby resi with the lowest expectations. Wind was blowing pretty good and the water was choppy. Still managed to hook up a couple times! First fish of the day was a thick 18-19" smallie that was fully ready to spawn. Looked like it was more excited than I was to catch it when I looked at the pic, lol!! :D

Caught up 2 more smaller ones before I had to head home to continue working on my boat. Glad to finally find some better action after a slow start to new season!!

Another guy killing it fishing! Good job and keep them coming brother. I'm over here waiting to take my boat out for some night fishing again.

Wow, that's awesome.
A 19" Smallmouth full of eggs is easily a 4+ pound fish.

Great looking Trout and beautiful BRONZEBACKS! Way to go G! Yep, that's a gigantic tapeworm coming out of that Smallie! Wrap it around a bigger hook and throw it in the bay for a Striper! :D

awesome fish man...but you may as well throw that hat in the river and let it float away...what a disgraceful performance from the rangers...bunch of losers, i'm embarrassed to be a fan right now.

Couldn't agree more!! I'm gonna have to dig my remote out of the wall later. I'll look forward to the pens and isles getting eliminated in due time!!

As for the fish, I just thought it was some pre-spawn goo. Never considered tape worm!! :eek:

great bunch of smallmouths, tapeworm? i thought that was it was part of its egg sac hangin out like a hemorrhoid or something. did you see any more like that there ?
