Union County Carp
It's become ceremonial to start my open-water season carping in Union County. Missed a few fish including my unicorn 10-pound white koi that I had hooked for a few seconds. Got two in the net though, one had some cool color the other was chunky. Back to the grind for couple weeks, but I'll be back on these fish before I go musky for the year.

Re: Union County Carp
Are there still any good places in Union County to catch a decent carp?

I like the detail of the carp's head in the 1st shot. Suggests the shape of my Labrador retriever's.

Re: Union County Carp
I am new to this area and you seem to be very "helpful" Thanks! :(

Carp are ubiquitous. Asking "where are the carp?" is the same as asking "where are the sunfish?". My advice is to buy some cans of DelMonte sweet corn, find a pond or river with a muddy bottom and then 'bait-and-wait'. They'll be there. . |

Now as for the ponds with the bigger fish...you're gonna have to figure that one out by putting the time in. :D |
