My boat isn't Cong friendly, but I can tend lines, spin wrenches and crimp wires. I don't mind taking a ride there to meet up.

bring your trout gear its fun to catch the stockies for C+R before the opener, and shallow cranks to fish the rocky areas for eyeballs breeding

Hey shrimpman Steve I don't see why you wouldn't be able to I'll be putting my 17 ft 115 hp boat in and have put my boat in last year at lees with no problems at all plus the water was about 2 or 3 feet below normal and no problems!

Let's have a M&G on the Passaic and pull out as much garbage as we can in one day.

Lol! Cap'n! Everyone would need Tyvek suits for this one! Tetanus shot before the clean up will probably be needed as well. Afterwords we'd all have to go for a mandatory blood test! Not kidding!!!

This is a great idea! NJF clean & greet!!!! Let's do it!

Jigman13 03-05-2016 09:09 PM

Re: Anyone down for meet and greet

A mess like that would require a MAJOR effort. Heavy machinery, large dumpsters etc. It's crazy what some areas look like after very high water recedes--saddening really. Waist deep in plastic and glass bottles, lawn furniture, an array of various balls and sports equipment, cans, refuse bins, kiddie pools, sandboxes... you name it, it's in there.

Chrisper4694 03-06-2016 12:05 AM

Re: Anyone down for meet and greet

The worst part is, if you cleaned it all up, it would probably be trashed again in a month or two
