Sad day for all that know "the sinker man"
 

I'm sorry to inform everyone of Sam chamberlain aka the sinker mans passing today. After a few years of struggling with health issues he is in a more comfortable place. Prayers to his wife and family and I will post the services as soon as I hear them. RIP Sammyboy!

Truer words are rarely spoken. They don't make them like Sam anymore. He gave me my very first Jig making supplies nearly a decade ago. Literally just handed me a box of stuff and said, "here". I haven't made any in a while and bought different things, but I still have that box sitting under my work table at home three moves later. Going to miss Sam a lot.

Wow, I had a dream about Sam last night dropping off a huge box of jigs he made...Told me there was no charge and to just enjoy them. I didn't remember that till just now when I read this post. :(

He was a good guy who loved to shoot the shit. Very sad news.

Sad news indeed. My condolences to Sam's family and everyone that knew him. Sam came by the house many times with sinkers. He used to laugh at me, asking what was I going to do with them.

Great guy.

We will miss him.

I just left Sam's house. Stopped and offered my condolences and the condolences of our fishing community. Patty his wife, was happy to hear from us. She stated that Sam passed peacefully at his home, which is what he wanted. The services will be private. His ashes will be brought to Stokes State Forest, where he enjoyed hunting in years past.
His wish was for any donations to be made to your local A.S.P.C.A. in his name, for his love of animals.
I will surely miss him, and I know he left a mark on countless members of the NJFishing.com community.
RIP Sam. You will forever be remembered.

There are only a few people who i've had the pleasure to meet during my life, who I would say are just incredibly special because of their kindness. Thank you for showing us how it's done and setting the bar high Sam!

I do not know anyone ,who I never met in person, that sent me stuff before I paid for it ! That was Sam! RIP my friend
