Gulp Rebate
 

Berkley has its rebate offer going. $5.00 back on purchases of $9.95 or more, with four offers per address. To save even more, one of the large sporting goods stores is offering a buy one get one free on packaged swimming mullet. If you pay for two, you get two free which puts you over the $9.95 minimum so you can get $5.00 back. That comes out to four bags for about $2.00 per bag. If you buy the 4" mullets, there are ten baits in each bag, you get 40 baits which is more for less $$$ than buying a pint of them.

I think I did the math correctly. I believe there are about 28-30 4" baits to a pint.

6" mullets are 3 per bag @ $2.15 each. Buy one get one free is $1.05 each. Buy 2 bags and get 2 free plus the rebate equals about 75 cents each. When the small seabass start chewing on the tails and destroying the action, it doesn't hurt as much to lose 75 cents as opposed to $2.00 on each one. But, big baits equal big fish.

Thanks Billfish for the info. Don't forget the coupons in the entertainment book. Bought 56 for $175. East Brunswick had lots of them. Not so many now.

If you are a Gulp Swimming Mullet user, this is a good deal. Four bags of 4" mullet for $8.00 ( with rebate ) is way cheaper than a pint of them for about $15.00 ( with rebate). I guess they build in the cost of the Gulp container when you buy by the pint. Supplies are limited, I'm sure, and so is the offer. The offer seems to only be good on the swimming mullet and not the shrimp or grubs. Ask before you buy.
