Jiggin for eye's, big surprise
 

Hit the lake today with The Birdman jigging for wallys at deadwood.
Jiggin damiki vortexes (thanks field and tackle) and pulled up this monster!
40" 23 lbs !! Also found some wally's after.
Awesome day, this was my first musky ever!!

I imagine if you were jiggin for eyes then the tackle was on the light side so cheers to you and Birdman or should I say Netman in this case for landing it on the light tackle!!!

I was useing a mojo bass rod with 12 lb test. It really is amazing i managed to get him right in the side of the jaw so perfect hook job and no fraid line!

I was sitting in the back of the boat on my navionics looking for our next spot.
he's up front jigging and i look up at the fish finder and see a BIG mark that looks to be moving around. i say to him "Big musky right under the boat"………2 seconds later he nails her! crazy!
my NET GAME was on 10 !!

Nah-no fish in deadwood....nothing to see here people, please move along now! Great fish & an even better story! Nothing like catching a bigun' on light tackle/line! It is days like that which keep us coming back to to the H2O.

Caught a nice one @ Skunky this year on 15lb fluoro on a bass rod w/a spinnerbait during the herring spawn this season. My buddy thought I had caught a stump until it started pulling the my 17' Bluefin. After 4 runs, two failed nettings, a broken net & a few bandaids he had her in the boat! Looking forward to catching that looks like a sub next season.http://muskie1
