Turkey Day Gold with FE
 

As I usually do on Thanksgiving morning, I planned on some fishing before family obligations took over. The notorious FastEddie met me at the ramp for about 4 hours of boat time. Snowed the entire time, very scenic. We managed a Walleye each before heading out, 23" and 15". Biggest of the fall so far for me but plenty of room to improve before ice. Water temp at 40 degrees.

good job boys, way to stay out in the snow and put some teeth in the boat. I got stuck plowing and the boat had 4" of snow on the cover, its the first Tday I havent fished in many years. Not much time left, get em while u can

Real nice morning out there. Best scenery of the year without a doubt. It was a Winter Wonderland without a doubt. Couple of fish were caught, all is good! Thanx for the ride Skunk. Good times!!!:D

Wow beautiful pictures and looks like you fellas had a great day. Never knew walleye had such an impressive set of dentures. Do guys fishing for them use mono leader or do you ever have to go to wire for the bigger fish. I would think cut offs would be an issue with teeth which look pretty darn sharp! Nothing like wetting the line and putting a few in the boat Thanksgiving morning. Great way to compliment a great day with family and friends!

Thanks for the kind words Dakota! Hope you had a great holiday as well. I use 10lb flourocarbon leader. Their teeth I believe are more for gripping, as opposed to slicing like a Pike. I have never had an issue losing a Walleye due to cut leader.
