Smallmouth Award BBQ Sign Up 11/15
 

Alright boys...We'll use this thread to get a total of who is in for the Awards Ceremony BBQ.

Its going to be at my house on Saturday 11/15 Starting at 2PM.
I'll have a keg on tap and a few other beverages of choice.
Firepit and cigars -just to sweeten the pot!
Address/Directions will be provided via PM/Word of Mouth once you sign up.

Once we have a solid headcount I'll come up with a food plan. If there is anything you want to bring to add to the party food or beverage wise just let me know when you post to this thread.

I'll update the attendee list as we go.

Hey ken, you can add my narrow ass to that list! I was aboard the GetANet when dale caught that toad! Had the pleasure of netting her! She pushed 5 lbs!

It's going to snow and be rather nippy the day of the NJF SMB BBQ, awards ceremony. Dress warm ya buncha FREAKS. Bring some Jameson's to stay warm. TIGHT LINEZ!!!:D

BBQ time! YEA BUDDY!!! Guyz and galz, if you have nothing to do Saturday stop by Kens house for a beer and a burger or whatever else might be on the menu. OK Boys....Here is the Menu Plan:

I'm going to make BBQ Pulled Pork for sandwiches and Eddie is going to bring Hotdogs.

So..the rest is up to you guys. We need some sides and stuff and since there are only around 10 of us we figure if a few guys would bring something it would be a done deal. So post up here if you can add to the menu.

Suggestions:
Cole Slaw
Baked Beans
Mac Cheese
Potatoes of any kind
Chips and Dip

Well you get the picture. I will have the grill available if you want to bring something to cook up as well.

I sent out a PM with my address and phone number to all that said they were coming...so if you did not get a PM and you are planning to attend then PM me and I'll get you the info.

Sounds good guys..ill bring some slaw and potato salad and im marinating a london broil tommorrow..im bringing a small propane heater too. Thanks again for hosting this is going to be fun!

List updated with The Birdman and Hooked4life plus 1.....and Scoward with a strong hopefully:D....glad you guys can make it.

Don't feel obligated to bring anything but here is what we have so far for food:
Pulled Pork Sandwiches
Hot Dogs
Cole Slaw
Potato Salad
London Broil.

So if you want to just bring whatever works for you.

It's not too late to join the party if you can make it...just let us know.

Dress warm ladies...it's 20 degrees here in Bridgewater this mornin'. But the sun is shining bright. So as long as it stays like that it shouldn't be too bad. Just think of it as an Ice MnG Practice Run. You'll even catch just as many fish in my backyard as you did on GWL and Monks last year!:D

That was a blast..hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did. Great having the gang over for a "ton of food" and few adult beverages. (Ok so I had more than a few and yes I'm still having one now!) Good to see you guys.

Big thanks to 15Footer for a great idea of an event that covered the whole season...Can't wait to kick off next years Smallie contest.

Great big London broil brought by 15footer was awesome. Pulled pork made by Ken was delicious. Nice showing of NJFers at the BBQ yesterday. Great times fellas. We'll have to do it again soon maybe for no reason at all. Congrats to all the winners. YEA BUDDY!!!!!

Wanted to thank Gary for with sweet hoodie which I can now replace that old ratty blue one I wear fishing all the time! We Always have a great time together no matter if it's a large group or small, It is about friendship and having a common bond with other anglers on the site. was awesome to finally meet Birdman and his fishing partner, as they were a great couple of guys!
Food was hot and delicious, the beers were cold, and the fishin smack was flowin!

Congrats to the 3 place winners, too. We should def look to do more season long contests like this...casual, fun, and ending with grilled meat, booze, and prizes!
