PP ELKS fluke tourney .
 

headed out this morning with Scott, Ed and Anthony to fish the PP elks fluke tourney.
got on a nice pod of fish and caught some nice fluke with a bunch over 5 pounds. the biggest going 8 pounds 14 OZ and taking third place.
Had over thirty five keepers today ( keeping our 4 man limit of 20 ).

I leave those kinds of runs for the guys with the BIG boats and Trip's or now Quads.

Someday MAYBE I will be able to run one of those kind of boats but for now I will stick to fishing small pieces

Great job with the 3rd place finish. You fish hard and it paid off...not too far from having a very big pay day. You put in the hours and pay your dues and good things come to people who invest the effort. For those of you who know Danny or don't, he's one of the few guys I know who will go out of his way to help others whether it be where to fish, what to use or anything in general which will help put more fish in the box. Not something you see from many people these days so placing in the prestigious Elk's fluke tournament is a great accomplishment and couldn't happen to a more deserving guy. Danny congratulations to you and your crew on a great day!

felt good finally having a decent fish to weigh.

REALLY looking forward to fluke masters this weekend , as we have been catching some quality fish the last few weeks. And I like the multifish format
