Coming up this weekend....the 12th and 13th is our Annual Fluke Tourney. Fish BOTH days!
Captains meeting and Final Sign Up is This Friday the 11th at 7pm. We have lots of door prizes as Give aways to those boats entered. (must be present to win).
Will be thanking our great sponsors there as well for everything they've done to help us make this one of our best to date.

Yup...as Gerry said the weather looks nice for the weekend! We officially open the meeting friday at 7pm but we're there setting up earlier for it. Shirts will also be available for purchase!

As of 3 pm Saturday I heard a 12 lb was holding 1st

Top was still 12 lbs. Not sure what bottom was as of final weigh in this afternoon. Will update later on.

Donna stone, who fished with me, won the women's tournament with a 7 pounder! Great day on the water, and she really enjoyed it:) was out with her, my dad, and capt frank her brother ;)

Frank Fischler 12 lbs 1st Place

Vincent Fahrion 10.8 Lbs 2nd Place

Jim Pfeiffer 9.6 Lbs 3rd Place

Derek Bielitz 8.6 Lbs 4th Place

Mike Ramirez 8.4 Lbs 5th Place

Ralph Fucci 7.8 Lbs 6th Place

Donna Stone won the Ladies Largest Fluke at 7 Lbs.

We had a good turn out and great weather for the Sandy Hook Bay Anglers Fluke Tournament, we had approx. 125 boats and upwards of 80 fish weighed in. *The SHBA would like to thank our sponsors and all who fish the tournament, it is because of you that we are able to do the charitable advent and donations, Thank You!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our next meeting is August 8th at 8pm at the Senior Citizens Building at Atlantic Highlands harbor. Interested parties can reach out to me if you would like to apply to become a member or be a guest at the meeting to see what we are about!

Congrats to all!! Pretty sure Frank Fishler is a guy out of my Marina, Leonardo. He's won the Leonardo Fluke Tournament a few times too.
