Excellent Combo Charter on Golden Touch
 

Was invited to join Russ 'n' Kathy (RnK) and Frank Qiu and Sam and Rondae today on Captain John's Golden Touch. It was a combo live-lining Striper and Sea Bass trip and we did well with both !! Left super early to grab bunkers off of Seaside Heights then had great Striper action up to Russ' ~40 lb'er. Then it was off to the Reef to top off the coolers with some nice Sea Bass.

Many thanks to Frank for providing a gourmet Asian home-cooked lunch, to Captain John who ran all over the place putting us on our quarry and provided a nice hot breakfast (reminding me of how much I miss former mate Frank F (RIP)), to Mate Rich who was Johnny-on-the-spot (even when the "bunker" I snagged turned out to be a yellow-eyed demon that clamped onto Richie's thumb), to RnK for inviting me on this memorable trip, and to the rest of our crew for filling our coolers so that we can now fill our freezers :D

Nice trip you guys had Larry I met frank at his place today & saw some of his catch. An impressive day for everybody today who was lucky enough to fish today.

Thanks all, Richie's cut was merely a flesh wound and didn't slow him down at all.

Team Blind Squirrel looks forward to sailing on the Golden Touch this July for the Pt. Pleaseant Elks Tourney. I like our chances :cool:

Great report and no surprises that Capt. John and Richie did a great job! The bonus was Frankie's lunch that I was lucky enough to have a couple of times! Great catch guys, sure the freezers are well stocked.

Well for those who don't know me I'm the one usually supplying the grub.... Was great having food I didn't have to cook for once.... Haha. Even though I enjoy cooking it!!

I want to say that it is always an incredible day fishing aboard the "Golden Touch"! The charter that Russ put together was an awesome group of fishermen! Always a pleasure fishing with you Larry! Frankie Q you are the bomb!! Sam, after hearing from Russ what a great fisherman you are it was great to meet you and fish with you! Our friend Rondae, who is also my annual fishing partner for the Ladies Invitational Blue fish Tournament came on the charter with us and as always she is a blast to fish with!!

This trip Russ kicked my butt......not often I can say that LOL but when he landed the 40lber bass I was beyond happy for his new PB!! Love fishing with this guy :)

Capt. John and Ritchie what can I say except Thank you for an incredibly great fishing day!!

Superstar crew on a super star boat, Great Captain and mate. Always love to fish with my buddy Frank great chef and fisherman. Larry nice pictures very nice sea bass. nice post.:D:cool:;)
