Giant Tuna !!
 

this past week we put our first giant in the boat!! Johnny D and Eddy from the miss michelle and myself hit the hudson canyon for the hot Tuna bite!! After a long day of getting heavy duty gear together including installing a gin pole, we were kinda ready. Kind of because our bait was iffy! We were all set up by sunrise and had our first bite within an hour. The fish peeled line off the 130# international and just about ripped the swivel rod holder out of the gunnel. Eddy did a great job cranking the big reel right from the holder and I wired the fish to Johnnys harpoon shot! Perfect!! Tail rope! gin pole! Fish on deck! end of story. we never got another bite.
