Tuesday Morning Crappy weather Awesome fishing!
 

Hit the lake Tuesday morning with absolutely horrible weather conditions. Had the entire lake to ourselves:D The fish definitely cooperated! Caught fish pretty consistently the whole time..except for when the weather cleared lol. Not really sure how many we landed but it was def one of our best days this year. The early morning started out with the browns goin off! Most were in the 15" range, the one in the pic is the biggest @ solid 18" but really fat. All were released never leaving the net. Then the lakers took over! Caught about 5 of them all around 22" and they seemed to hit right when the weather was at its worst. They liked the metal. Now for the best part of the day, as the weather calmed a bit random packs of smallies invaded! We had a few multiple fish hook ups with really solid fish. Biggest smallie was a 22" monster! Oh and we caught a catfish trolling..wierd. Gotta love the rain!!!!!!!!!!!

beautiful fish. What kind of metal and size were you using for smallies? blades? kastmaster? spoon?

good job boys, nice catch u put together.......like i said in the other post my buddies have been doing rly good up there, I usually have my best days in the worst conditions, way to tuff it out

Thanks guys. Trolling herring and spoons did the trick. The crazier looking and bigger the spoon was the better it worked (purple green stripe). Spoons out did bait. Gonna try for some hybrids tommorrow and Ill try to post it.

Way to work it guys......When you find the wolfpacks of bronze, that is fishing at it's best while it lasts.....Nice trout as an extra....Thumbs up!!!
