What- Official NJFishing.com Meet n Greet/ Bass Battle @ the Swartswood's

Where- Little Swartswood Lake

When- Saturday July 27................ start 7 am - end 4 pm

Point of Contact... FASTEDDIE29 and flyboy1

Rules and Compensation-Motivation- *$20 per person/entry..... additional $5 per person if participating in the bonus Tiger Musky contest............................ *Artificials Only
- 1st and 2nd place awarded for heaviest Bass (can be largemouth or smallmouth).......... 1st (70% prize pool) and 2nd (30% prize pool).
- Proposed $5 bonus from every participant to the heaviest Tiger Musky if one is caught (Optional entry at contest time).....

I decided on Little Swartswood because it's a nice small-intimate (but deep) lake with little to no pressure and there definitely is some very nice monsters in there and as a bonus its home to the Tiger Muskie so we could have some bonuses going for catching one of those bad boys too... I figured it would be a good time with everyone being within shouting distance of each other to talk some shit and observe actual catches as they happen... and I could almost guarantee that it would prolly just be all NJfishing members occupying the water....

Little Swartswood is a great choice, beautiful area. I'm all in. Any of the Saturdays mentioned works for me. How can we sweeten the deal Flyboy??? C'mon up NJ BASSMASTERS! This is going to be an epic event. Lots of Bass anglers on NJF. Sign up and request the day off work if you work Saturdays. Flyboy will have a date set in stone soon. WOW, I can't wait for this one to go down. Definitely a lot of monster Bass in the Swartswoods. YEA BUDDY! TIGHT LINEZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

Plenty of time to get in on the action fellas. Little Swartswood, Saturday, July 27th, 7am-4pm. The lake offers up alot of big BASS. If your working on this Saturday there is plenty of time to request the day off. Should be a great time with some real HOGS being caught. Lets get em. TIGHT LINEZ!!!:D

If anyone wants to borrow my canoe for the contest, let me know. Just gotta find a way to get it up there. Its an old Core Craft but it floats and I do have the 2 oars that go with it.:D

I just want to add a little something....

I had a long talk with Andy S. on the phone earlier and I didn't mean to alienate anyone or make it difficult for people in South and Central Jersey to make this meet n greet.... It was just an idea that kind of got a life of its own and then I was bombarded by PM's with overwhelming interest... I will say that for those who make the effort to participate in this great meet n greet I can guarantee that the trip to little swartswood will be well worth everyone's time... it will be incredible... I will guarantee that most of you (if not all) will probably catch one your biggest bass of the year at this place... It would be damn near impossible for anyone to be skunked at this place....:cool: and someone may catch the elusive tiger musky for the bonus jackpot.... :)

Please everyone come join the meet n greet for a lot of shit talking, beer, bass and boobs.... ;) the boobs are possible...

I'll find a way, I always do.

We are closing on our new house the day before, and leaving for vacation the day after, so it may not be the wisest thing for me to do. Otherwise I would drive the 70+ miles to be there. Have fun!

If you're going to do a legit battle and there's a chance of a LOT of people actually showing up, then you should really think about Big Swartswood instead.

Very true! Still limited parking at the big lake. The main ramp can fit 5-6 trucks and trailers and on top of that everyone will have to pay an extra 10-12 bucks to get into the state park and launch whatever craft they'll be using. Love that lake, tons of time spent there. And they have some monster Smallies. Hmmmmmmm!!!!

Lil Swartswood could easily fit 25 - 30 boaters or more... and as Eddie said the big lake has limited parking... but we will try to keep an accurate running head count and then make alternate determination if need be.. but I dont foresee any probs at the moment...

Ill be out there in the yak, and my buddy who is not yet a member on here will more than likely be coming out in his canoe. Never fished either swartswood lake smayo this should be fun. Maybe come a few hours early and hit the big lake for some walleye action.

I will most likely be there, but I dont rly fish for bass unless they got stripes on them. I will likely bring musky gear and try for some toothies, but it would be good to see some of the guys I havent met yet......

Ok we are less than 2 weeks away from this Kick Ass event... i would like to get a accurate running head count... in the following posts could you please list your name if you are intending to participate... just list your name first- followed with a question or comment... I want to keep this organized.... I just want to make sure that this is a worth while event for all those that make the effort to come on out... I guarantee if you love fishing for some killer Bass (LARGE OR SMALL MOUTHS) or the elusive Tiger musky than this is a must.. Also, there is Walleye and hybrid Tiger Trout in this lake too. It is beautiful small deep, low pressured lake.... more than likely we will have the entire lake to ourselves (NJ fishing crew) Again, please just list your name on the following posts and feel free to PM me or FastEddie for any questions or concerns or directions....
