Gorgeous day out there today! Almost didn't make it as we only had 2 customers as of 7:20 this morning....A 10 minute shot at the last minute of a few more customers, we were off, sure glad we went!

Second drift I got to toss a line, fishing with bait I dropped down, 2 minutes later on the bounce my rod doubles over, knew right away it was a big one and yelled for Robbie who was netting a fish in the bow.....A beautiful 10.2 pounder comes to the top and gets tangled with June fishing next to me, my first thought is, she's gonna pull her line trying to get out of the way and de-hook the fish.
Luckily that didn't happen and I got a great pic of my personal best!

Lots of nice fish today including the pool fish at 6 1/2 caught by Bill. 3 other limits from Jim, Wendal and Bob. Couple guys with 4 and so on.
Back at it tomorrow!:)

What I see is a captain who has spent his career unselfishly trying to provide great experiences for his clientele. For him to be rewarded with a doormat is unreal. It could not happen to a better man, captain, or fisherman. You deserve the best, Capt. Ron and I applaud you.
