I was speaking to Jimi not long ago and he said to me;

:cool: "if anything were ever to happen to me, would you make sure that the fishing community is offered the "Purple Haze" Fluke jig"?

:) I couldnt say no, but I asked him to be more specific as to the design. I didnt want to dissappoint my old pal.
:cool: "I want it to have a "purple haze body, with an 'eclipse glow head', and 'pearl krystal flash running boards'. Most importantly, it is to have a 'swing hook'.
:) I asked "Jimmy, is the swing hook used because it helps BIG FISH from shaking the jig"?;)
:cool: "Well, he said, that is true, but I like the swing hook because it reminds me of the hot action I get on the swaybar of my stratocaster guitar. Man, you can get the rods bent just like I bend my B string with the whammy bar."
He then looked at me with a cold stare and said "one more thing. In honor of Noel and Mitch, will you offer a money back guarantee if this jig does not produce with BIG FLUKE, and lots of them?

Love the swing hook idea, let us know when ya have some in, I was even thinking of a jig-head with a sleeve or hole straight through to rig it as you would an egg sinker, just a lot better looking...

More like stay away from the Brown Acid (I always peferred window panes myself :D :eek: ).

Bunker, I have a couple of Sea Robin jigs put aside with rattles. sorry, coulnt make it over to the boat the other day. I havde to keep Snapper away from these purple jigs, I dont want him getting to many pool fish on them!!!!

Leif, did you know that that's Jimi burning all his old fluke bucktails. Right on the back deck of the Jamaica 2. I told him it wasnt a good idea, but when he saw the purple haze bucktails, he just lost control.:eek:
