PB Trout

I was nice enough to get an invite to the Warren Rod and Gun Club by my boss Bryan. He told me the fishing could be be really good, but I had no idea...First fish of the day was a 28.5" rainbow trout that took a gulp worm on 4lb test. Fought the fish for a while before trying to net it in my tiny trout net. Bryan, netted the fish for me, well.....half the fish any way. We took a few photos and then released the fish unharmed. I went on to catch around 20 trout after that while Bryan landed around thirty. My best trout fishing day ever. Big thanks to Bryan for taking me.

Holy hell, that thing is a beast! Congratulations! Is that a fish that the club had stocked? It looks like a wild fish!

Any chance you could tell me what body of water you were fishing? So I could sneak on and fis- err, I mean, make a point to avoid the area? :D

Definately not a state fish...I wish I had some photos but some of the browns looked like natives with beautiful colors.
Oh and thank you guys for the compliments...I am pretty proud of that fish.

It's the Musky river right by the Musky Trout hatchery in Asbury. You can fish down stream from it for some stray fish;)

Hey Fishpro, do you know what it costs to become a member? I see from their website that the membership is closed at this time.
You never know when an "accident" might occur to one of the current members;)

But you can fish just downstream of it and some of the fish move down there.
