These girls want to fish the Gambler
 

Thursday night Capt. Bob Bogan donated an entire cruise to my daughter Haley. Haley has two inoperable brain tumors that have impacted our lives as a family. She is great right now, but our future is uncertain and we have taken some steps.
Capt. Bob saw a flier and had a darn good idea : Fireworks cruise.
Haley boarded the Gambler with her 7 yr old sister, my wife & I. On board were about 100 passengers that were there for her. Family, friends and customers that saw his ad or gambler gal's ad. We even had the Holiday City Silverton fishing club. Needless to say Haley felt a lot of support just as the rest of the family.
Captain Bob & crew not only helped us financially but also gave Haley a giant boost of confidence. There isnt enough room on this site for me to convey words of thanks. As her Dad and best friend Im scared as hell.
Capt. Bob said, "Dont stop prayin, it works". I believe him.
Now my daughters want to fish on the Gambler. I will have two of the best fishing partners a guy would ever want.

I as a fathter with a daughter about the same age. I don't know what to say but as i sit here tearing up about thinking about how this could be my little girl i wish you the best of luck in this trying time as a family. If i could be of any assistance let me know.As i have no fear about donating blood plateletes , marrow or any other organ little haley may need.

This only further proves what I've known for years; Bobby Bogan is a hell of a nice guy who cares more than just taking people's money.

Glad we get to to hear good stories too! I just hope we can have a happy ending for Haley too!!!

This was an easy decision for my wife and me. We saw a poster about Haley. She looked just like our little girl. Very happy to do it.

Keep the prayers up.

Howie was about the 5th person who told me that Ronald McDonald house had helped their family so much. Don't ever hesitate to give money to them. Also, St Judes Childrens Hospital --I've heard they're great, too.

Howie prayer does work I'm Cancer free for 15 years have faith I'm on your side in a big way. Give Haley a big hug from all of us I'm sure you do that every day anyway. Bob that was one of the nicest things that you could have done that's why your clientele keeps coming back.

I just wanted to thank everyone for your thoughts, prayers, pm's and replies. There are a lot of good people on this site. I read a lot of the same emotion that I have been feeling.
We are all optimistic. As long as these things dont grow, life will continue to be just fine. I will be sure to post our fishing trips. I will post health related stuff in the non fishing section.
