Hybrid Meet & Greet Update:

I just called lees county marina to confirm they will be open for us to launch boats. So that’s good…. Weather looks ok for now but let’s play it by ear and make a decision here come Wednesday. Start up time will be 8:00a. Fishing from what I’ve done and saw hybrid wise has been very slow but let’s sees what happens and get the crew together for this yearly tradition and see what happens. Looking forward to it!

Who is all in?

I have Puke and Mr. Pop Tart in my vessel.

We are going to head out a little earlier than the mob and try to jig some walleye before entering the mosh pit.

See you out there!

To say fishing was slow is an understatement. We scratched out 2 skilful angler hybrids, a bunch of catfish, and crappie.

Puke stole my second fish and cackled in a strange witch voice the entire time he was fighting it. Joe slept for 2 hours and dropped his rod overboard. We witnessed a forest fire flare up and ran into the Donald campaigning to Make Fishing Great Again.

it was good to see some of the gang out on the cong, the fishing was in fact slow i did catch 7 crappies,1 white perch and a big sunnie all on a jiggin rap. after i seen you guys on the ridge i went to another spot a got three more crappies, two nice sized yellow perch, two slime darts and a 6lb6oz walleye on a flicker shad. no hybrids for me but i did have a good time. the wind was a pain in the ass to deal with but i managed to find some spots that did not have to much wind to deal with. it was nice of Joe to give me that nice multi species podcast shirt and sticker THANK YOU JOE. we definitely suffered for the fish a bit that day. I guess he gives new definition to the name" SLEEPY JOE " .

Re: Hybrid Meet & Greet

Always something to be caught when we get together. Not the bite we were hoping for but glad everyone caught something. My crew started off good with the walleye so we stayed with them then fished for hybrids later in the day. Set up at the end of the lake and had what we think were them under the boat but just couldn’t get em going for some reason. We will try again next year, thanks to all that came out and gave it hell!
