Night time, more NY, and seasickness 🤮 BLAUGUGUGH
Lots of fishing, Lots of small things to report between some bigger trips.
Night fishing the river was great, i havent been back out in a while however these are mostly pics from earlier. I was able to go on chrisper's and duane's vessels for some additional nighttime action. Headed back out to NY with Nick to fish Ontario and camped out in the Adirondacks. Tons of good smallmouth all on topwater or weightless flukes, and some nice pike mixed around. @ ontario i got into a PB Channel cat that ate a RatL trap on a Medium Light rod on 6 lb test. It was an epic fight and we both thought we snagged something huge like a carp at first. Shocked to see the big catfish once I finally was able to bring it up. Took my brother out fishing for the first time, had him wade up the NB Raritan river and he nailed a decent SMB that gave him an unforgettable fight. His first fish. I recently went on a saltwater trip off of NC, it was a 2 hour boat ride out and not 30 min in- Ralph mode is activated and I puke. For about 10+ hours I am seasick and feeling maximum suffering, only to get some adrenaline after more puking, that's when I could actually jig and ended up landing some fish only to have to sit back down again. Fortunately I felt better once I got on land, there's been times it took much longer to recover. https://i.postimg.cc/crBH0j9S/0507221110-HDR.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/8fB1kJbH/0514221430a.jpghttps://i.postimg.cc/qg8BxSd3/0514221543b.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/WqjvypPJ/0514221543f.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/K1YZFY3P/0515222031.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/Tp0RZb12/0515222039a.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/VSdL9NYf/0515222108.jpghttps://i.postimg.cc/rKMVnj8Y/0515222115.jpghttps://i.postimg.cc/Z92YwhRr/0515222133.jpghttps://i.postimg.cc/XrDnv09T/0515222146.jpg |

Im always impressed that you go on those boat trips knowing the inevitable.....Most ppl with that problem would avoid them, or keep experimenting w motion sickness stuff till they get it right.....are you experimenting??

This time I knew i had to prepare for the ocean, so i took dramamine the night before, the morning, and ate what the guys told me to eat for a good breakfast. It just wasnt enough! I think that was my final try at saltwater, at least for a while :) Chris recommended those subscription ear patches. I have a history of motion sickness in cars too but have been fine for a long time. Those boats on the ocean just wreck me! |

Nice catching ! I am truly convinced that seasickness comes from a deep rooted fear of the water.

Re: Night time, more NY, and seasickness 🤮 BLAUGUGUGH
I never had to carry anyone to the side of a boat that many times, but i'm glad you at least hulked out for a bit there and caught some fish with us! I think Nick screwed you with the dominos honestly...
