19.58 New Jersey TOG

Yesterday 12/1 I caught my personal best weighing in at 19.58#, a true New Jersey tog. I was fishing with captain Kevin on the GOIN DEEP. The fish was caught on a custom black hole rod built by Garone rods, 20# suffix 832 braid, 20# seaguar fluorocarbon leader line, and a 2oz tidal tale jig. Unfortunately we couldn’t revive the fish. Once in a life time catch.

You were using only 20 pound test? Cool. I was never a fan of the 60lb braid crap people push for tog. Might as well just run steel cable down with an electric reel. LMAO
