Onboard the Miss Montauk II ~ today was a much better day of Fluke Fishing! It wasn't a slammer but most everyone caught keepers & a couple people had thier limit. Pool Fluke weighed in at 7.3 lbs ~ very nice!

Onboard the Miss Montauk II Monday ~ Fong won the pool & was high hook - nice going! A couple anglers limited out, everyone else had one or two keepers - so an ok day.
Onboard the Miss Montauk II Tuesday ~ A good day of fishing! The Fluking is picking up! We fished with a light crowd again & everyone had a fun time & went home with nice fillets! John had today's pool an 8.52 lber and his limit ~ Awesome!!
Tomorrow (Thursday) is looking good ~ 7am-4pm if you want to join us!

Lol ~ yes we are starting off this season with light crowds.
Onboard the Miss Montauk II ~ Thursday's Fluke Fishing was very good! Kim had the pool Fluke wieghing in at 8.02 lbs ~ Awesome! Many anglers had thier limit. Onboard the Miss Montauk II Tuesday ~ A fun group of anglers on the boat. Fishing was a bit slower than it has been, but everyone went home with dinner. The pool winning Fluke was caught by Henry ~ very nice! The largest Fluke on today's trip was caught by Tyler weighing in at 6 lbs ~ Nice!

Onboard the Miss Montauk II Wednesday (today) ~ It turned out to be a pretty good day! It was a tough pick in the morning, but the afternoon was much better! A couple anglers had thier limits, everyone went home with dinner. Sal & Ronni had the 2 biggest Fluke today ~ Sal had the pool winner wieghing in at 6.9 lbs ~ Sweet! We will be going out again tomorrow. The rest of the week looks really nice!

Onboard the Miss Montauk II Friday ~ A good day of Fluke Fishing! Pool fish weighed in at 7 lbs - Nice! But the two largest Fluke were Anthony's set of twins both 7.6 lbs ~ Sweet!!
Onboard the Miss Montauk II ~ Chum Bag Kevin caught today's (Saturday) pool Fluke wieghing in at 9.2 lbs!! Awesome fish & the largest of the season so far! Gray sweatshirt (cause I can't remember his name, sorry) had an 8.6, Yang had an 8 & Kang had a 7.8 ~ Some really nice fish came up! A good day of Fluke fishing for some & a tough day for others. Tomorrow's (Sunday) weather looks iffy, we will be at the boat in the morning to see if we have enough to go. Monday is looking good!

Onboard the Miss Montauk II ~ Sunday was kind of nasty out, but we did go and fishing was pretty good. Pool Fluke was 7.6 lbs.
Monday was a slow pick for some and others limited out. Pool Fluke weighed in at 8.2 lbs caught by Peter Choi ~ Very nice!
Today was ok fishing for most and Fantastic for Brent who officially weighed his fish of a lifetime up at 11.6 lbs ~ Awesome!!!!

Onboard the Miss Montauk II ~ Another customers PB fish, Montauk Steve with an 11.6 lb fluke, to tie this years first double digit. Todays fishing was hit and miss, lots of weed , and screaming drift with wind and tide together. Some did well and others didn't. But there are some bigguns around.

Today we enjoyed having the Montauk School Science class on the boat! The Fluke Fishing has been iffy the past few days, we'll be out there again tomorrow!

Onboard the Miss Montauk II ~ today's pool winner weighed in at 9.2 lbs ~ Awesome! Conditions were tough today, but the afternoon bite put some quality fish in the coolers. Tomorrow's weather (Wednesday) looks very nice! The golf tournament pedestrian bridge over Sunrise highway is scheduled to be taken down tonight between 9pm - 5am so you might be detoured & want to leave a little earlier. Thursday's weather looks iffy as of now.

Onboard the Miss Montauk II ~ Very tuff day of fishing, with very very tuff drifting conditions, however we did put some fish on the boat. Peter Hyuns had the biggest Fluke of the season so far at 12.74!! Awesome!! We are seeing sea bass to help on slow fluke days.

Tomorrow's (Tuesday) weather reports are very conflicting. There is supposed to be a lot of wind but conflicting reports on when it's coming. If I say we're going we'll probably only have a few anglers at the dock in the morning ~ so I'm going to say stay home tomorrow ~ the rest of the week looks better ~ hope to see you then.

The weather kicked up sooner than forecasted but the fishing was good! Give us a call in the evening if you plan on coming out tomorrow, I'm not sure what the evening forecast is.
