Nice work Chris. Managed to hold off Jigman on his walleye quest.

For the record, I submitted my last beast in late November to the state for the program and never heard back! Something fishy going on over there! She was the same length, maybe a fuzz larger.

That's ok though... Motivation to stick a 30 in 2017! :D

Wow it is getting to the point where they should probably cancel this program. Over half the species had no entries.

your walleye was 28.49 and everyone knows it! :p

takes like 3 minutes to fill out the form and print it with pics. I've suggested to them to switch it to a fully online submission like in-fisherman does for their master angler contest, but for some reason they still use snail mail.

I've noticed a lot less submissions since they started requiring an actual picture proving the length of C&R fish...tells me there was a lot of exaggerating fishermen...

Aghhhhh online wouldnt be bad!! The whole print the paper out thing out print the picture send it in its a pain! 30 days pain! Noone is printing a stack of 100 forms and having them ready like a weirdo🤔 Biggest fish of the year then what matter how many days after it was caught... do away with the whole thing and stock bigger fish instead👍🏻

28.51!!!!

Online submission is more realistic esp bc 99% of people take pics with a smartphone. Uploading pics directly to the website with the necessary info would eliminate a huge time suck of printing out pics and docs and snail mailing in... I honestly never received a response about the last walleye I submitted back in late November 2016. Every other time I received some sort of snail mail in return.

It's a simple HTML build for the F & G website. Wouldn't take more than an hour to build.

"Something fishy going on over there"

I heard Chris sends coffee and donuts at least once a week with his entries ;):D

By the way congrats Chris!

I hear you..no clue why they don't do it online. I stopped submitting about 1/2 through the the year unless I had one bigger than on the leaderboard...forgot about the 'elite angler' category hahaha. Much more submissions would be made if it was totally digital, it would be easier for them...I see no down side.

Someone tech savvy should just do it for them and say here!

Agreed that online would make me send in more. I didn't send any in last year after sending in a few the years before. Not having to print them out, buy a stamp and mail it would make it a lot easier.
