Iced Wipers
Met up with a great crew after work last night for some late ice season jigging. We blanketed some water and once the sun went down our sonars got real active. We had to work for em but patience paid off. My buddy connected first then we got into this double header. His went 25" and I got its little brother at 17" for my first ever iced hybrid. I was off the ice around 10 and these maniacs weren't leaving. I heard a few more where iced up after I left.

Re: Iced Wipers
Walking out on the ice at night to catch some fish = AWESOMENESS!!!
Catching the targeted species with good buds = PRICELESS!!! Congrats on your first Scotty! Way to go gang!:D |
Re: Iced Wipers
Congratulations on your hard water first, Scott! Nice looking fish.

Re: Iced Wipers
Nice job, you guys had the right plan. Those hybrids really active at night through the ice. Hooked one very early morning once but you have to be out there at night to get a good bite through the ice. I never did get out at night, guess this is what I missed haha. Great job, that had to be some sick fun.
