FISHERMEN/Today was the day to be a Party Boat Captain!!!
 

After yesterdays post, mostly out of frustration, we put the traveling wheels on today. Told the guys when we left the dock we were taking a ride, we may not catch a thing but we have to go look some new area.

Ran and hour and a half at full steam. When we got there all the weight on my shoulders had been lifted!! After stroking it for the past month staying local, the bite was on!!
Some of the best fishing I have had in years.
First drift went for over an hour with a mile of Non-stop action...loads of shorts and 24 keepers, all nice fish including 3 double headers.
Some nice Sea Bass in the mix with one that went 22 inches 6 pounds!

Ended the day with 9 limits and then some including all the Wednesday regs,
Larry, Brett, Hammer Tom and twin bro Gerry, Rob pags, Uncle luna, never quit Eddie, Scooter Scott and Tom the Vet who also took the pool with his 8 pound beauty!! Many fish from 4 to 6 pounds......Feel like a new man!!!:)

WE ARE CHARTERED FRIDAY AND SATURDAY Morning this week.

Good on you capt Ron.. You deserve it.. We all appreciate the fact that you don't try and make a bad day sound good just to get a few more fares... I would really love to know whats going on on your evening bottom fishing trips, if you would be so kind.. My son and I plan on taking the drive down[ 215 miles each way], but before we do, I want to be sure the fishing is worth the time... Has it started heating up as yet??... bob

Today was the first time in a long time that I went on a catching trip not fishing trip. Great fishing !!!!! Great day today Capt. Ron you worked very hard for this day !!!!!
