No South Wind = good results !! Plenty of action and the pool winner to boot. Thought I had the Fluke of a lifetime when my line peeler in the Pulpit started pulsating and thrashing - - turned out to be a cow-nosed ray that fought me straight up and down rather than side-to-side. As disappointed as I was, my fate took a turn for the better when I nailed a 5 pounder then the pool winning 7 pounder. Great action today out by the Candlesticks. Drifting between the channels was productive for all - bait-draggers and bucktailers alike. Good luck to all Tourney entrants tomorrow - should be a Top 10 day on the water.

Great job Larry. Congrats on the pool! Like you said no south wind is always welcome ;) Heading out Sunday. Was hoping to be back early for the clamfest if possible :p

Nice job Andy, that pool should help defray some the cost of the busted spinner you broke today. I also see that our friend Cliff boated a true 10+ 'mat today $$$$ - Nice :)

Yea Cliff took the Sea Horse bounty.

Not so upset about breaking the rod as it was at least 15 years old and I picked it off of Ebay for a song. The reel seizing on me bothered me some but I plan on taking it over to Rich at Jersey hookers for the needed repairs
