Trip of a Lifetime

If you could go on a week long fishing vacation with a few friends, where would you go?

The wife gave me the thumbs up to take my "Trip of a Lifetime" in 2012, the year I turn 40  I have a front runner already:D

Your wife must be a great gal. If she wouldn't mind I'd suggest Swedens Baltic coast fishing for Nordic blonds which has the advantage of being an indoor sport not affected by hurricaines.

Costa Rica, Panama, or Guatemala I can give you a name in CR and I will let you know how things work out in Guatelama when we get back in March.

1. A trip to one of Baja's all inclusive fishing resorts.
(lightest on budget)

2. Crocodile Bay Resort

3. Tanaku Lodge, AK ($$$$$$)

Yes, I live in Redondo Beach, CA now. Have you been on a long range trip Andy? San Diego has by far the nicest fishing fleet in the country. Those boats are unbelievable. The only thing I worry about is the boredom on the 2 or 3 day boat drive down to the fishing grounds. I have been considering this as an option...check out this party boat....www.fishintrepid.com. boats out here are much nicer then the one's back home. I guess they have to be if you are going out for 10 days.

San Diego has some great fishing opportunities. I have fished there for yellow tail and giant squid, as well as rock bass and calico bass, but they offer some great long range trips for tuna and all the usual Pacific Sportfish. Check out this site for additional details: http://www.pointlomasportfishing.com/

Some of these trips range from a few days to 2 weeks.
