I sit here in shock I met Mike 13 years ago and bought meat for my restaurant from him for many years. We became good friends thru busniess and fishing. I am heart broken over this horiffic news. Mike was a good man,father and friend who will be dearly missed . RIP my friend. May the Lord be with you

I remember Mike was always down washing traps at the old Monger slip when we came back, making jokes and seeing what came in. Great fisherman, even better person. I only wish I can be remembered the way he will be.

Mike had an influence on us all, each of us that had the chance to fish with him, always knew you were in for a good time. He will be missed by all of us, may he rest in peace.

I never had the pleasure of meeting him...but I know some of the people that have said nothing but great things about him. My condolences to his family and friends. Tight lines and west winds...

Only knew Mike a short time, but I liked him from our first conversation. he will be missed, and on my mind for some time to come. My prayers to his family, may he rest in peace.
