Yes, contests are fun on this site as long as there not too long and drawn out! It's no easy task listening to bickering and getting opinions from all walks of life. I love a good contest here and there! More interested in this club I must say!
See what ideas you come up with and feel free to share them here! You can call or text me anytime dude!!!:D

Funny shit Ed, love the spirit ..Great to hear the interest from you and others . At least I know I'm not completely nuts.

Start by coming out to the meet and greets! Pike, Hybrid, Trout, Salmon, Ice meet and greets, etc., they are all a good time and an opportunity to meet the faces behind the screenname. Every NJF meet and greet I've attended has been filled with laughs, home-cooked food, a couple drinks, lots of advice/info sharing, and even managing some fish (except Monks Ice meet and greet :o).

I've got to say, last fall's Hybrid meet and greet was probably the best. Lots of familiar faces as well as some new ones. Lots of guys scouting the big lake until we found the fish. A couple phone calls later, everyone was congregated around the same area and everyone caught fish.

If we do ever get this started we won't use or be affiliated with this website . No worries . I understand . That's not my intention . Just thought we have a great group of guys all into the same thing so why not do something more then a yearly meet greet . Also pretty sure last years meet n greet got cancelled due to winds. It's been awhile since the last . I could be wrong .

It would be posted in this section. Off the top of my head, I think the guys did the Salmon m&g first week of October and the Hybrid m&g was Halloween morning.

Would be fun, I know I get in a funk fishing the same waters for the same fish the same way. Would be a great way to get out make some new friends, learn some new waters and techniques.
