Let's have a M&G on the Passaic and pull out as much garbage as we can in one day.

Re: Anyone down for meet and greet
A mess like that would require a MAJOR effort. Heavy machinery, large dumpsters etc. It's crazy what some areas look like after very high water recedes--saddening really. Waist deep in plastic and glass bottles, lawn furniture, an array of various balls and sports equipment, cans, refuse bins, kiddie pools, sandboxes... you name it, it's in there.

The worst part is, if you cleaned it all up, it would probably be trashed again in a month or two

Re: Anyone down for meet and greet
The NJ Clean Communities Council is calling on volunteers to join the Clean Water Challenge, March 1 – April 30! We’re proud that thousands of volunteers will be cleaning rivers, lakes, streams and beaches to keep the state clean. The Clean Communities Council will honor the volunteer group that picks up and recycles the most trash at our annual Awards Dinner on May 26 at Tropicana Casino & Resort in Atlantic City. Join the Challenge--today!
