Im hoping this will be the first of many meet n greet tourney's for the NJfishing family... I would like to try and get 4 or 5 or more of these going each year and establishing a competitive point system and actually crown someone as king of the NJfishing Fisherman of year as well as some sub categories as Bass man of the year, Pike man of the year and so on....... Im looking into actually getting some awards/trophies made up for these events...

Its not the vacation that was pricey. The fuel pump in my Silverado went 2 days before vacation, 1500 bucks just because the damn fuel pump is in the gas tank. I miss the good old days when the fuel pump was easily accessible. Its all better now but the timing really sucked. Ill be swinging for the fences saturday using 18 inch water snakes for bait.:D

Need to drop out. I have a family matter that I need to go out of town for this weekend that just came up. Sucks!

Worst part is I was giving Moz a spot on my boat so he now needs a home...hopefully someone can pick him up or he may not be able to make it.

Speaking of family mine is away for another 10 days so I an flexible if there is a last second vacancy on a boat. No worries otherwise, hope a few slobs make it on the boats this weekend (and maybe a fish or two as well, lol).

I have an open seat in my Jon boat if anyone wants to meet me there and jump on (my wife is sitting this one out and getting ready for a night of poker down IN AC when I get after this event... ) If you ride with me in the boat be prepared to sit and fish a lot of the pads/weedlines as thats where the beasts are so bring all your weedless topwaters...:cool:

***I really hope we have at least a decent commitment by the end of the day... I was thinking of cancelling but some peeps want to move forward with around 10 peeps so Im game reluctantly.. Is the start time 7 AM as indicated in the thread? I thought it was moved to 6 AM, I probably miseed it being moved back to 7 somewhere in the thread but getting up at 4 and getting up at 5 is a big difference! lol

6am start time....... reason being is its obviously better fishing in the early morning, we can finish the contest early and not be battling the sun all day...

there is still one seat open for anyone else interested....
