Update 1/2/2018: Based on the forecast for Saturday we are going to cancel the Mimi trip on 1/6... It’s going to be way too cold and we’re supposed to have some wind too.. This trip will be rescheduled for Saturday 4/28 on the Mimi so if you’ve signed up for 1/6 but don’t plan on climbing on the 4/28 trip, let me know and I’ll issue you a refund. If I don’t hear from you I’ll assume you want in on 4/28.

P.S. A number of years ago there was an alternate trip set up due to overwhelming interest. As I remember It was a boat out of Barnegat, Labby supplied the leggers, we fished tanks and railroad cars. And I won the pool! I had teamed up with Sport fishing USA, Vinnie, so we split the winnings. The fish was 11.5 lbs and still stands as my personnel best. In fact on what was an otherwise so so day I had a great day just because I wound up over a honey hole that yielded an number of keepers. Not sure but I think I was also high hook. I also caught my only double header keepers on a snafu rig.

Hopefully the weather calms down by the end of April. This winter has been way too long I am going house crazy. Can't wait till the saltwater show this weekend to get all my supplies for the 2018 season. :)

It's been a while since the trip was scheduled/cancelled so maybe some people forgot about it. I'm assuming the PUOSU is still a go so let's get some odds, ball busting, updated roster, tailgate preparation, etc going!

Let's not forget this is for Mike Wells who was taken from us way too early. If you met LAB then you knew what type of guy he was. One of a kind. if you never met him I'm sure you've heard some of the legendary stories about LAB.

I hope to see a lot of the OG's on this trip.
